KEY WORDS-
Leisure activities - They are non-essential activities that take place after work, sleep and other necessary activities have been completed.
Tourism - The act of travel for the purpose of leisure. Also the provision of services for this act.
International tourism - When people travel outside their own/home country.
Domestic tourism - When people visit places in their own country.
Passive leisure activities - Activities that involve very little physical activity. [Sightseeing, sunbathing]
Active leisure activities - Activities that involve more physical activity. [Skiing, sailing]

INTERNATIONAL TOURISM-
Growth
There has been an increase in international tourism since nowadays everything is easier. From organizing tours to transportation, everything can be accessed and done easily - which is the main reason for the rapid growth in international tourism. As each country becomes more developed or have more attractions, this will attract tourists to that destination.
Reasons:
-People work less hours, with more part-time. =They earn more money, in less time.
-People live longer, travel after retirement.
-Quicker and easier for people to get to places. Transportation is more efficient.
-More ads.
-More people have cars (transportation). =More roads built.
-More airports. =Bigger planes.
-Packaged holidays make it easier to plan and there is a guide to look after you.
-Access of booking over internet makes it easier to book a tour or holiday for families.

-Monuments in different provinces.

Physical attractions =
-Waterfalls
-Beaches
-Rainforests

-Prices on everything increases.
-Seasonal employment only.

-Create traffic and congestion on island.
-Loss of traditional values and culture.

-Facilities developed and constructed can help the residents as well.

-Funds contributed to school and buildings.
